For most that read this site, you are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For those that aren't, we believe in a living prophet still being on the earth (like Noah). Our prophet for most of my young adult life 'til now passed on Sunday. With his funeral on us I thought I would post a poem i got from my sister in law and say that he will be missed. he was an inspiration and made me feel it was ok to mess up and try again, as long as i tried!
Prophetic Passing
I imagine he's running to Marjorie now,
Yes, running, not waving his cane.
I see him embracing his father and mother
While they keep repeating his name.
I see him now meeting his forebears,
Brother Brigham and Joseph are there.
Sweet reunion of prophets, united by service
That only such noble men share.
I see him embraced by the Savior
While Father says, "Good and well done.
So faithful in stalwart endurance, I welcome
My noble, most excellent son.
"I then hear the ripples of laughter
As he says the reception's just fine,
But he hopes that he'll get an assignment or two
Since there's no need to waste any time.
I can hear his clear voice in the stillness
At the close of this sweet Sabbath day,
Have faith and move forward there's work to be done.
President Hinckley would want it that way.

Princesses on Ice
One of the gifts we got the girls for Christmas was Disney Pricesses on Ice. It was today and we had the best time. It was a fantastic show that was just under 2 hours! The girls were so excited. Their little eyes were sparkling and glued to the floor the whole time. I have a ton more photos that our on our movie site. if I feel like super mom i will put them on this page later. Here are a few of the girls favs.
Grand finale of all princess and princes.
Ariel binoculars-another MUST have!
Bubbles fell while they sang "under the sea"
Grand finale of all princess and princes.
Freeze or I'll get you with Tritans sword
Ariel binoculars-another MUST have!
They are spoiled but it was worth it. If you have extra money and extra time it is still here tomorrow! Nemo is coming in April. I recommend saving and going. Not a bad seat anywhere!

Cheer-y girls
Our cheer season finally started today. Abbey was feeling so left out that I had to get her a cheer uniform and pom-poms to match. In fact she had to wear a t-shirt to the game because she wouldn't take the top off yesterday and got it too dirty to wear again. She doesn't care as long as she can shake those poms and say, "who rocks the house?... I rock the house!"
Getting ready for the players!
"Lets get fired up"

Jesus wants me for a SUNBEAM
Today was a big day in our home. Abbey (our baby) entered the big kid world in the primary(church). She now is a Sunbeam. That is the first step in the next several years at church. She is getting so big. It was one of those happy/sad days. Fun to see her get out of the "babies" room, but a huge step in what is probably our last one to do this step. SO a bitter-sweet day for me to do alone. She was SOOOOO excited.

I can ride my bike!!!!
So after a long battle with out of town doctors and insurance authorization nightmares, Abs got into the orthopedic surgeon. He said....
Nothing is broken
So we took off the dirty gross splint and left with a "naked foot" All Abbey can talk about is being able to play outside and ride her bike! Let the fun begin.
