10 years ago today

10 years ago today my wonderful husband asked me to be his wife! Me being a dork asked if it was real, being April Fools Day! I decided that since we are at the place that this happened we should go there so I can show the girls where it all started. So after a long story of our proposal it ended up happening at Pioneer Park in Mesa AZ. So tonight we got DQ and went to remember my special day.
Here are the girls on a bench with the Temple where we were married in the beackground.

Here the girls are stnding in the EXACT spot that the ring was slipped on!

Here we are in front of a Pioneer Park sign where Brian tried to propose but a security guard made us leave!

Brian is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. I would be nothing and have nothing without him. He is my true love and companion. I thank my Heavenly Father ever day for the blessing of having Brian in my life. We celebrate this day every year but the 10 mark has made it extra special.

I LOVE YOU, B!!!

1 year ago today

One year ago today Brian left us for Iraq. I thought when it started it would never end. Now that a year is here it is hard to believe that we have done a year! We have gotten word that Brian should be coming home sometime in June, if the Lord permits! So thanks to all for helping our year go by so fast! We love you all and will be sad to go back to WA and super happy at the same time. We love you all but REALLY love Brian! :)

Easter Dresses

We are finally well enough that we put on our pretty girl dresses and went to grandmas since we missed the family party the other day. They are the prettiest girls around I can safely say!! We love them so much. They are truly from heaven. I am so glad our Heavenly Father sent them to us. I can't imagine life without them.

They wouldn't be our if they were serious!!

Spring Bunk

So we had spring break last week and we all got sick. this is the first all out sickness that we actually had major down time for. we were good for 2 days then BAM. so we headed for the cabin figuring we can be sick at home or somewhere pretty. on the back way home (because the beeline was closed) abbey threw up in the car several times. It's soooo awesome to be a mom.
So Easter was a bust. We tried very hard to have a fun day. The easter bunny went overboard and hid over a hundred eggs and several toys. The girls started strong but little abs got tired and had to take a break. so we have not been well enough to do the easter dresses. those picts will be up as soon as we can be happy enough to put them on.

all abbeys loot from us and nana

Kassidys bracelet with Zac Efron from daddy

Sooo many eggs that we each needed 3 baskets!!!

Too much? Never when giggles and "heres one for you and one for me" "here have this one its pretty with the colors you like" or "let me help you find somemore"

Our girls are the best of friends (most the time!) It is a true blessing to have them

The real reason for the blog drought

So I realized that it had been a month since I have posted. WHAT?! I have been so good so sorry for that.

HERE is the REAL REASON>>>
We have had a teen ager living with us for several weeks and having a teen have been quite different. She has introduced us to GUITAR HERO and ROCKBAND. So for the sake of keepiong her entertained I have played almost everynight after the girls have gone to bed. I must admit I have become addicted and quite good. Even the girls like to try the guitars and drums! So the computer has gone to the back burner. HOWEVER, Brian has pointed out that I am behind and need to get on it! So here we go....

we have had lots of things going on. so here is a little recap.

The girls in their all the way from Ireland St Pattys shirts

Kass finally finished cheer and had a little party.

So proud of her trophy.

Sweet St. David

Brian's parents are having a house built down in the booming town of Saint David. Haven't heard of it?! Well, if you have ever been to Tombstone you may have blinked and missed it on your way there! It is a little town settled by the pioneers that Brigham Young sent (Sherrie's relatives). Larry came out to do a final walk through so we went down to check it out. It was hot today and Abs got sunkissed cheeks.

Taking a break from our non-stop afternoon in the dirt.

Papa Larry and his sweeties

The house from the outside. Not quite finished but just about!

Here is the house in the distance with the cool mountain view. This is from Sherrie's mothers house. (Even though I think it looks dirty and dreary I know Brian the desert lover will love this shot)

I am the QUEEN of the dirt!

They climbed this dirt mound and others all day. They were completely brown and happy as they could be. It will be so great to have my in-laws close for the first time ever. I truly am blessed with the best in-laws anyone could ask for. We especially like the extra 3 bedrooms for grandkid summer month long stays!!!

Another TAG

So thanks to my pal Jacque I have been tagged to bore you all to tears by telling you 6 things you might not know about me. So grab a pillow and get ready to read something from one of the most boring people on the planet!!

1. I used to cordinate my socks and shoes to my outfits in Elementary. I would wear 2 socks each foot and alternate them and them pick a matching Ked. I was awesome.

2. My favorite thing to do growing up was make haunted houses. In the backyard in fridge boxes, in the bedroom, in the bathroom didn't matter. Couldn't get enough.

3. I've been the same height and shoe size since 6th grade. Yes I was a beast.

4. Brian was my first kiss! I was so worried about having to remember someone I didn't really like, so I waited for a hunk to sweep me off my feet! (If I said it was on our wedding day would you believe me?!)

5. Our first car as a married couple was a mustard color 1977 VW Micro bus. That I could never drive because the seat was rusted and wouldn't move so I couldn't reach the clutch.

6. I have hiked to the top of Humphrey's peak in Flagstaff. It is 12,633ft and the highest mountain in AZ. It was awesome.

So that's random me. I am supposed to call people out so I am thinking I would like to torture... Christy and Marie. you better do it because if I did you better or I'll haunt your site, whooooo (that's a ghost sound)
